A clinic-branded service that monitors patients through the first month of antidepressant treatment and routes concerning symptoms to their clinicians.
Added Aug 4, 2026
Patients starting or increasing antidepressants frequently experience anxiety, nausea, insomnia, dizziness, cognitive changes, or emotional blunting before their next scheduled appointment. They often seek reassurance from strangers because they cannot distinguish expected adjustment effects from symptoms requiring clinical attention. Prescribing practices lack the staff capacity for frequent, structured follow-up.
Provide primary care and behavioral health practices with a managed four-week onboarding program delivered by trained nurses under clinic-approved protocols. The service conducts scheduled symptom check-ins, documents medication adherence and functional impact, supplies clinician-approved guidance, and escalates warning signs to the prescribing team. It does not independently change medication or provide emergency care.
The signals repeatedly describe the same vulnerable period following medication initiation or dose escalation. A service-led model can address the gap immediately while generating the operational evidence needed for later productization.

I started taking Lexapro 5mg about 2 weeks ago. So far haven’t noticed much change but I know it takes a while for it to start working. My anxiety has been so bad lately I can’t hardly function so I know I need to be medicated; but I’m worried about some of the side effects. I’ve heard SSRIS can blunt your emotions and I really don’t want to be a shell of who I was. So my question is how does Lexapro treat those that are on it? I know 5mg probably won’t be enough and I’ll have to up the dose at some point, which makes me worry about worse side effects and the potential for serotonin syndrome. So any and all advice/personal experience with this medication would be greatly appreciated!
Anyone who is on sertraline, did you notice a huge increase in anxiety and increased heart rate? I feel like I’ve been way worse, quicker heart rate and panic attacks. I’m on day 7 of 25mg. I also feel light headed and dizzy often. I take it at 9:30pm every night.
Anybody else felt the benefits from the first dose. Everyone says it takes 4-6 weeks, but it’s my second day and so far I kid you not it’s a bit similar to l-theanine but stronger. It’s like my internal narrator’s head is covered by a pillow and I’m mild-moderately numb not that it’s bad. My processing capability is also down, music feels less textured, make more mistakes when speaking, or typing without noticing. Just wondering if this is normal. Sleeping is also a nightmare, right at the border of falling asleep I get a sudden jolt in my chest or jump at the slightest sound. Not that it’s never happened before it’s just that it never occurred at this intensity and frequency. Overall, ironically I feel both anxious and calm when outside. My only concern is my mental capabilities, I feel slow and dumb. PS. I have severe anxiety and a mild depression and I’m on 25 mg for the first 4 days, after which I’ll start with 50 mg per the psychiatrists orders.
