I had similar struggles with baby not latching. Did tongue tie release at 1.5 weeks old and was still not latching. It was bad for my mental health and baby and I’s relationship. Took a few weeks off. Baby one day started rooting at my breast when I was holding her. I offered her the breast and she just latched on her own. That was at 6 weeks and she has been exclusively direct breast feeding since and she’s 3 months old. That’s to say that it’s okay to take a break, pump if you want to keep your supply up and try again later. And if it doesn’t work, your baby will still be fed with formula and will thrive. We went through few phases like this in the past. And i am thinking roughly same time (12 weeks) Sometimes babies have clear mommy or daddy day/week. It can be difficult to one parent if the other is a clear preference. It was sad to see my husband struggling with his feedings because for him it was his time with his own son and suddenly LO was like "nope". There is a strong mommy bond forming at this age and quite a big regression as well. There were few days when I took over feedings but after week or two he was perfectly content to be back with daddy and bottle feedings.

is the milk from the fridge being warmed up or straight from the fridge? if it’s still cold maybe he’s decided he likes it better warm now. would it be possible for you to get up when they do and pump fresh milk for him to drink then go back to bed? maybe after a few bottles of fresh milk he’ll take a liking to the bottle again and then you can go back to stored milk. have you guys sized up the nipples for his bottles yet? he might need a faster flow and is getting frustrated or if you’ve sized up recently it might be too fast and he’s not quite ready yet. if none of those work then i agree with the other comment to wait it out. if he’s taken the bottle before it’s unlikely he won’t take it if he’s truly hungry. he’s probably expressing that he prefers breast over bottle and will realize he’s gonna have to deal with a bottle sometimes.
