A productized remote bookkeeping service that keeps small business books closed, reconciled, compliant, and ready for owner decisions every month.
Added Jul 20, 2026
Small business owners and founders routinely fall behind on bookkeeping, reconciliations, AP/AR tracking, payroll matching, tax records, and monthly reporting. The pain is practical and recurring: they need clean books, cash visibility, compliance support, and reports they can understand, but often cannot justify a full-time accountant or controller. The signals also show demand for part-time offshore or remote accounting capacity familiar with QuickBooks, Gusto, Bill.com, Xero, payment gateways, and spreadsheets.
Start as a managed bookkeeping and monthly close service with fixed monthly packages for US small businesses, agencies, startups, and independent consultants. The first workflow is intake of bank, payroll, invoice, bill-pay, and payment gateway data, followed by categorization, reconciliation, month-end close, P&L?, balance sheet, cash flow summary, and a short owner review. Over time, productize the delivery with templates, checklists, close calendars, standardized reports, and a vetted remote accountant bench.
More small businesses are comfortable using remote fractional finance help, while tools like QuickBooks, Xero, Gusto, Bill.com, Stripe, and payment gateways create fragmented accounting work that owners do not want to manage. The recent hiring signal for part-time offshore bookkeeping staff suggests operators are already trying to scale this labor-backed service model.

Hi everyone, I'm a finance professional with four and a half years of experience in accounting, GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and reconciliations, currently working full-time and looking to take on a few freelance projects on the side. I work mainly with small businesses, startups, agencies, and independent consultants who need someone reliable to keep their books accurate and their compliance on track without having to hire a full-time accountant. A few areas I regularly handle: day-to-day bookkeeping, GST return filing (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B), TDS calculations, bank and vendor reconciliations, payment gateway reconciliations (Razorpay, Cashfree, Stripe, PayU), and matching invoices against receipts and sales records. I also put together Excel-based MIS reports for clients who want a clearer monthly picture of where their money is going. I'm comfortable working in Tally, Busy, and Xero, and I'm fairly advanced in Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, and the like). Having worked closely with growing businesses, I understand how easy it is for accounting to fall behind when you're focused on running the business itself. My aim is to take that off your plate — accurate books, timely compliance, and reports you can actually act on. If you're looking for part-time accounting support, feel free to send me a DM and we can talk through what you need. Thanks for reading. [](reddit.com/.../submit)
We'll still do implementation however you want , but you run with it . But others , like dude , I have businesses to run , I have people to manage . Let's turn that dial up . We'll help you with your bookkeeping . Our team specializes in project based accounting . We know , like how to handle that . We'll bring in fractional CFO type engagements , but in a package where you're not paying for a fractional CFO , you're just getting their insights and guidance without having to pay the monthly retainer . So you have cashflow forecasting , you have job costs and you're reporting all of that , but built for a small business Because and because you still have the complexity that , like a really large business does you just don't have the budget and the bandwidth right .
