Internal audit, SOX, GRC, and finance teams are under pressure to prove that controls are designed well and operating effectively, but the work is labor-heavy and recurring. The signals show repeated hiring for walkthroughs, sampling, evidence review, ITGC/application control testing, deficiency assessment, remediation tracking, and reporting to auditors or audit committees. Many companies need specialist capacity, but not always a full permanent audit team for every control cycle.
Start as a productized managed service for quarterly control testing and audit-readiness. The service would map key controls, request and validate evidence, perform walkthroughs, test samples, document workpapers, classify gaps, and maintain remediation trackers that external auditors can inspect. Over time, reusable templates, control libraries, evidence request workflows, and integrations with GRC and ticketing systems can become a lightweight operating platform behind the service.
Hiring demand spans fintech, crypto, cloud, healthcare, manufacturing, SaaS?, and public companies, suggesting broad pressure from SOX, cybersecurity, privacy, AML, and operational risk obligations. Teams are also explicitly looking for continuous monitoring, automation opportunities, and co-sourced audit capacity rather than one-time advisory reports.
